Calvert County is home to some great habitats. Many different animals can be found in our beautiful fields, lush forests and the abundant bay. Each of these habitats have a unique set of animals living within them. During this in-school program, Kindergarten students learn how animals find food, water, and shelter from their surroundings. Students will explore various habitats on their schoolyard to find out how animals meet their survival needs. Kindergarteners will apply what they learn to improve their schoolyard habitats for the animals living there..
